Tony Stanz speaks up for the “Working Man” on his new project
Known as a fixture in Harlem Hip Hop, Tony Stanz has many renowned accolades throughout his tenure highlighted by his performances alongside legends Big Pun, Eminem, Black Thought, and Common. How can you top that? Hard for any ordinary MC, but not Tony Stanz. Inspired by the MCs who blessed the culture before him, Tony Stanz is seeking to leave a similar impact on those to follow.
“From beatbox to rap battles, I have participated in and cherished every aspect of the culture. I am a creator. I am Hip Hop.”
Studying communications and public relations in college, Tony Stanz also showcased superb skills on the basketball court. Upon returning home he auditioned for the “Lyricist Lounge” before releasing his debut single U.P.T.O.W.N produced by the legendary Chill Will from the East Side.

Tony Stanz lyricism and skill set has undoubtedly withstood the test of time. His GROWN MAN Rap brand has opened eyes and ears to the plight of a subset of Hip Hop lovers who are speaking their truth. His new studio album titled “Working Man” is his 4th overall and considered by many to be his best to date. Led by the title track, the content is aimed at showing the world that Hip Hop is more than painting a picture about street life – it is life!
